There are many frustrations with Systemmet (need to buy a bottle of wine for Sunday lunch? Nope. Run out of beer on Saturday evening just before your mates arrive? Sorry!) but overall it’s a well-run and effective system in my view.
Whatever you think of it, Systemmet is what we have here in Sweden and unless you want the hassle & extra cost of importing wine it’s what you are stuck with! I’ve done some wine importing, from the UK and Germany but the duty makes it about as expensive as buying from Systemmet so I just use that now.
Recommendations
Taste is very subjective of course, so I ensure I test all my recommendations extensively and will feature a wide range on here, from the driest Muscadet to super-sweet Sauternes and from a light Pinot Noir to a heavy Shiraz.
